DISNEY WORLD!!!!

I am just too excited about our recent trip to not blog about The Magic Kingdom! This was our big experimental theme park visit, because we figured if it didn't go well at Disney, it wouldn 't go well anywhere! We had the most fantabulous time! Both of the boys REALLY enjoyed themselves. We weren't sure if Parker would really like it, or it would be too much for him, or he would be mildly entertained...but he LOVED it! He was squealing and smiling on the rides, pointing to the things that he saw. His favorite was either the Buzz Lightyear ride (in which he turned our car around for us) or "it's a small world." He really enjoyed both. And while he was having a marvelous time, we were blessed with his handicap pass :) It let us bypass most of the lines with minimal wait, which made the experience so incredibly pleasant. Parker would not have been able to wait in line, and many of the lines aren't even handicap accessible. The workers were incredibly nice, none of them made us feel like we were an imposition and they were very helpful and friendly.
Camden also had a fabulous time! His favorite rides were: Thunder mountain railroad and Splash mountain, although after almost every ride he was like, "No, that was my favorite ride." He enjoyed Pirates of the Caribbean, the Buzz Lightyear ride, the jungle cruise and lots of other fun rides. We told Camden that this was his "birthday party" and he kept saying, all day, "This is the best birthday present EVER!" And then later told us, "No, this is the best DAY ever!" Except for one minor meltdown at the beginning, things were just magical; and the meltdown was due to the fact that there were like a zillion people streaming down Main Street and we were trying to hurry Camden along to get out of the crowd as he was lallygagging trying to look around. Can't really blame him, though, can you?
After we left, we went to IHOP for dinner and we let Camden order the Who cakes and the beezlenut splash drink that went with it (it's the breakfast/dinner celebrating the Horton Hears a Who movie.)http://www.ihop.com/info/ihop-template.htm It really went along with the theme and made Camden's day even more magical for him, "and I even got to eat a cool dinner that I'd never had before at a restaurant!"

Overall we just really had a great time. It was so fun to do something that EVERY member of our family could enjoy. By the time we got home, we were already thinking about where we would go next time we were down in Florida! It was really great. Granted, this is how we looked the next day:
So we won't be going on any marathon theme park excursions. As fun as it was, we were all exhausted!
PS: Thanks to my mother in law for going with us! It is always nice to have an extra pair of hands!

I'm so jealous! We love Disneyworld! Disneyland is not the same, but close! You looked like we felt at the end of our trip. I seriously was about to crawl everywhere we went! My feet had it! So fun to see what you guys are up to.
