MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I am a bad blogger...but I thought I would update the blog with some Christmas pictures as a gift to all those that regularly check my blog and are dissappointed find nothing changed ;) So, Merry Christmas to all! The visit to Santa wasn't very succesful...

...but we have had fun doing all of our normal holiday things (including mom dressing up her boys in matching Christmas vests)

We will be staying here in North Carolina and taking it easy. The following weekend, we will be heading to Myrtle Beach for some much needed R & R! Maybe I'll make it a new Years resolution to do a better job of updating the blog...well...we'll see ;)

The 5th anniversary of Mr. C's arrival

OK, so my blogging is a bit behind...Mr. C has been here for 5 years!!! To celebrate this special anniversary, he invited some fellow superheroes over for a dinosaur party. His cousin ,Clark, and 7 of his closest cohorts (boys only) gathered for this special event.


They started out by shrinking some dinosaurs so that they could control their every move. They also enjoyed puzzles and coloring-you have to keep the mind sharp for problem solving in the field!
Soon, lunch was prepared. The carnivores dined on small dinosaurs (chicken nuggets) and bugs (graham cracker bugs) while the herbivores ate dinosaur sticks (french fries) and fruit. Most of the heroes were omnivores. They then played with some large, green dinosaur eggs (balloons) before heading to the jungle. In the jungle, they trained for dinosaur attacks by playing T-Rex vs. plant eaters and stegosaurus stomp before retreating to the new base. All of the superheroes were able to try the space ships and the escape chute as well as the sand building zone.
The mommyton brought out a dinosaur cake complete with volcanoes and then the guests showered Mr. C with gifts.

The day was fun and exciting and the superheroes got some good training in. Mr. C then got to spend time with extended family from the planet Maryland. They arrived during the celebration and stayed through the weekend. Mr. C enjoyed the special visit. His grandparents got the coolest gifts-a super scooter and a dinosaur castle! What more could a little superhero want?

ADVENTURES FROM THE PAST-How Mr. C got his name

Before the birth of this amazing superhero, there was no name decided on. The mommytron and daddytron were having a hard time agreeing on what to name this spectacular child. After finding out he would be a boy, Mr. Baby emerged as the nickname until a decision could be reached. After much deliberation, Camden was the name chosen for our hero. The name Mr. Baby had been being used so frequently, that Mr. C emerged as his superhero name, and the rest, shall we say, is history.

ADVENTURES FROM THE PAST- How the Parkerman got his name

The mommytron and daddytron had 2 names chosen for the new superhero, but had not decided on one yet. After a scary entry into the world 6 weeks early, a name had to be decided upon in quick order. The daddytron had liked the name Parker, and the mommytron thought that it was what he looked like, so the first name became Parker. His middle name became Daniel-a name representative of the Daniel from the bible who survived against all odds with the help of the Lord.

Parkerman just flowed off of the tongue, and that is the superhero name that emerged.

Our new secret base!!!

Mr. C and the Parkerman were thrilled! The mind control was working! Mommytron and daddytron were under their control!

They used this mind control to send them to do hard labor. A base was needed, one with space ships and climbing apparatuses and chutes so they could quickly eject in case of attack. The mommy and daddyton began to work on the project, but Mr. C and the Parkerman soon found them to have poor workmanship! The project took much longer than expected. A weekend project turned into a week project, even with the mommytron spending almost all of her spare time during the week to devote to the base. But finally, the task was completed.

Mr. C tested the base, and found it to be acceptable. His new space ships flew high, the chute ejected quickly and everything was found to his liking. He said that his ship flew higher "then he had gone in years!" The Parkerman especially enjoyed the chute and enjoyed the sand placed in the bottom to create plans with. Parkerman received his own blue space ship shortly after and could now fly with his brother and comrade safely.

The base was now complete, marking a new era in the power of Mr. C and the Parkerman.

ADVENTURES FROM THE PAST-Mr.C and the friendly police

log date: 9 months imprisonment...

Mr. C was playing with the phone while mommytron was getting ready for the day. "She's distracted," Mr. C thought, "this is the perfect time to try to activate the communication system on my own!" While the mommytron continued her morning routine, Mr. C found the perfect opportunity and activated the controls. He soon heard voices on the other end, but found that they were unable to understand his language!!! As he tried to communicate, the mommytron returned from her activities and placed the communication device in the receiver. About 20 minutes later, the communication was successful! A uniformed officer approached the door. "Yes, I have succesfully communicated to the outside world about my imprisonment!" Mr. C thought, but unfortunately, the mommytron intercepted the officer and had a nice conversation with her. Mr. C's plan was thwarted. The 911 communication had not freed him..."another time," he thought.

A little over a year later, with advanced mobility, Mr. C got his chance. While the mommytron was again performing her morning rituals, the opportunity arose. The mommytron had left the front door open, and thought she had locked the front screen...but...she had unsuccessfully latched the deadbolt. While the mommytron was distracted with her loud hair drying machine, Mr. C made a break for it. "Finally, my opportunity to be Freeeee!!!!" he thought. The mommytron came down to find Mr. C and found him missing! She thought he was playing a new game he had learned, hide and seek, but couldn't find him anywhere! With the Parker man asleep, she got in her vehicle to drive around the block before calling the police. But Mr. C had found them first! Early into his break, he ran into one of those shiny police cars! "Powice, powice!!!" he said. He was so excited for this contact, but soon found that they only wanted to return him to his prison!!! They asked him if he knew where he lived. "I'm not telling them," he thought, as he merrily strolled up the street with the 2 uniformed police officers. Just then, mommytron came around the corner. "CAMDEN!!!" She screamed! She was so excited to see Mr. C, he forgot about his escape plans and ran to hug her.

Another visit by the friendly police men, and still no escape. He would have to try alternative measures...

Let's try this out!

Since everyone else is doing this blog thing, I thought we should get in on the action....from our little action heroes: the amazing Mr. C and the Parker man! I will use this blog to share their adventures as well as those from mommytron and daddytron. Hope you enjoy!!!!
